Wink  Todays paper announced part of the celebration of the restored Baltimore & Ohio Railroad depot will be  Ohio Central Railroad's No. 1293  4-6-2 steam Locomotive..

The locomotive, built in 1923 for the Candian Pacific Railway, will show up in front of the B & O depot late Friday afternoon. The locomotive and cars will be on a stationary display.  rides will not be available..

The depot will be open to the public on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Wink wow I think this will be a big attraction for kids......alot of kids enjoy trains and to see one close up would be exciting......

i don't have any real fascination with trains or planes, but i will say, the train ride was pretty cool... i just sat, listened to music, looked out the window at trees, and felt the breeze

They used to have a "train station" in New Braunfels where I used to live and you can go in and look inside.  Actually, it was a movie thatre. (Brauntex...darth would know about it), then they did the trin thing and now it's a "theatre".

They just finished remodeling the station here and it looks great. I think it will be used for meeting and such like that.
